Oval Makeup Brushes
Oval Makeup Brushes are the newest trend in cosmetics.
They are sweeping the world of cosmetics off its feet.
They are earning a spot in the makeup kits of celebrities and renowned makeup artists.
Recently Adele’s makeup artist Anthony Nguyen posted a picture on Instagram that shows he uses an oval makeup brush to spread foundation.
How it all started
Mathew Waitesmith the co-founder of Artis invented the oval makeup brushes design.
Mathew has been in the makeup industry for over 40 years.
All along he observed that there is something that needs to be done about the makeup tools.
So far the Industry mainly focused on colors, but from his perspective makeup is an art.
And in art tools are as important as the colors.
He wanted to come up with something that felt natural to use (ergonomic), yet efficient.
He was of the observation that the normal brushes didn’t work with different applicators and that the material used is wasteful.
Benefits of Oval Makeup Brushes
Fast and Efficient
Applying makeup can be tricky even for professional makeup artists.
However, the unique handle design makes Oval brushes ergonomically suitable for applying makeup.
Plus the movements made with an oval brush mimic natural finger movement.
Cost Effective
Oval brushes are dense and normally made from synthetic material.
Therefore, they absorb less product than a blender brush or a sponge.
Blend Flawlessly
Application with an oval brush offers effective coverage and gives a flawless finish.
It is hard to overdo the makeup since they blend in the excess product so well.
It makes it easier to smooth out accidentally put, excess products.
Multi-purpose
Oval Brushes are multi-purpose so they can be used in many different ways.
For instance, a medium-sized oval brush can be used for eye shadow, blush, highlighter, or concealer.
